The Associate Resource Groups at SHC reinforce the inclusiveness of all associates and customers. The groups are in place to provide associates an opportunity for personal growth, career development and community engagement. The ABLE Network, which is one of ten Associates Resource Groups, is dedicated to promoting the benefits of having unique abilities in the workplace. The network focuses on raising awareness, fostering respect and navigating barriers for those with disabilities in surrounding communities and within SHC.
“ABLE’s leadership is extremely passionate about the inclusion of people with disabilities as part of our workforce. We believe that differences in ability are part of the diversity that makes a workplace vital. We feel that recognition of everyone’s abilities is crucial to the success of our company,” said ABLE’s chair, Aimee Rose. “In working with the leadership and workforce of this company, we have been pleased to see how many share that vision. We’re incredibly proud of the progress we have made over the past few years, and to see the company’s efforts in this area recognized. We look forward to doing great things in 2015.”
