Building on the success of the Fort Collins model, we’re proud to cut the grand opening ribbon today at our newest Sears Appliances & Mattresses store in Pharr, Texas. This bright and spacious freestanding store sets the stage for an innovative and interactive shopping experience with the support of our expert associates. It showcases the top 10 major appliance brands, including Kenmore®, and mattresses from top brands, including Tempur-Pedic®, Beautyrest, Sealy, Serta, Simmons and Stearns & Foster.
Members can visualize how new appliances would look in a full-scale kitchen with the “Discover More” 122-inch interactive digital display. Using a tablet, shoppers can customize the design or even shop for other products on sears.com.
Our store associates take the time to understand each member’s needs, so they can help narrow down the choices and find the product that’s just right for them. Members can even schedule an appointment with our in-store experts while they are shopping online. While accessing information digitally is important to members, so is physically interacting with products in store, especially larger items such as appliances or mattresses, which are big purchase decisions for any family. We have integrated in-store and online shopping experiences to provide our members with the convenience of shopping with us wherever, whenever and however they choose. That’s why having all of their questions answered by experts on site is critical, as well as the confidence to rely on experts for delivery and installation.
The Pharr, Texas, store extends well beyond appliances and mattresses. No matter what our customers are shopping for, we have millions of items they can order online and chose to pick it up right here at their local store with our five minute pickup guarantee — no shipping fees involved. So even though that perfect patio set or riding lawn mower you’ve been thinking about may not be on display, we can still get it for you.
For more than 50 years, Sears has been the home services and appliance expert. The Sears Appliances & Mattresses store associates and technicians, who provide services such as installation, maintenance and repair, are trained and employed by Sears.
Plans are underway to open additional Sears free-standing stores dedicated to two of its strongest categories, while offering the power and capability of its leading integrated retail services.
