Memorial Day weekend kicked off the unofficial start of summer and summer driving season. While families and friends are busy making plans for their upcoming road trips, the team at Sears Auto Center is working hard to make sure members and customers get to their destinations safely and without unexpected–and costly–car troubles.
At Sears Auto Center, we know our members and customers would much rather focus on organizing the all-too-important road trip playlist than checking all of the critical points on their vehicle. However, nothing can ruin their great adventure quite like being stranded on the side of the road with a broken down vehicle. That’s why we offer the “Performance Snapshot,” a thorough examination of the overall health of the customer’s vehicle, complete with a detailed report that allows them to evaluate any recommended maintenance needs at their convenience. The Performance Snapshot is free each and every time a customer brings a car into Sears Auto Center.
Our Performance Snapshot is much more than the typical car inspection. Backed by the latest in automotive technology diagnostic systems from Hunter Engineering, one of the leading designers and manufacturers of passenger car and truck service equipment, the Performance Snapshot service includes a check of the car’s alignment, battery, computer system and tires to ensure everything is functioning properly.
The Performance Snapshot also includes a comprehensive visual inspection of the car performed by our team of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified technicians, each of whom carefully evaluates all major components of the vehicle are working properly, including brakes, shocks/struts, belts, lights, fluids, hoses and much, much more.
Following the computer diagnostics check and a visual inspection, Sears Auto Center’s certified technician will provide the vehicle owner with an easy-to-understand report, including visual references and recommended repairs and maintenance. We are also committed to empowering car owners to know as much as possible about their vehicle, so we make sure that a certified technician takes the time to provide a detailed explanation of each and every report.
The development of our state-of-the-art Performance Snapshot is yet another example of our renewed commitment to servicing the needs of our members and customers, creating lasting relationships. That commitment is supported by significant investments into our business, including our people, processes and technology.
We invite all of our customers and members to stop into their local Sears Auto Center to receive their free Performance Snapshot before hitting the road this summer. We may not be able to help you answer “Are we there yet?” but we are confident we’ll be able to help you make sure your car doesn’t stop you from getting there.
